Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)

The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) is a mandatory requirement in the UK, requiring all non-SME’s to undertake regular energy audits.

If you employ more than 250 employees, OR have a turnover more than £38,937,777 AND a balance sheet exceeding £33,486,489, you will need to undertake an ESOS Assessment.

Notification Required – 29th January 2016

All qualifying organisations are required to undertake an ESOS assessment and notify the Environment Agency.  If you haven’t already done so, Stroma Tech can help.

Stroma has a dedicated in-house ESOS delivery team providing the full range of ESOS services.  Get started by arranging an ESOS meeting or telephone consultation with one of our Lead Assessors.

Whether it’s developing a full ESOS compliance plan, providing a Lead Assessor service only or undertaking energy audits, we will work with you to achieve compliance with the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme.

ESOS Benefits

How Can You Benefit?

Although the scheme is a mandatory requirement for large organisations, it is your choice whether you simply do the minimum to comply or take the opportunity to turn a regulatory cost into business benefit.

Improve your business profitability and competitiveness by implementing the energy efficiency improvements identified in your ESOS assessment.

The scheme is estimated to lead to £1.6bn net benefits to the UK.
